The board of directors of Maude Norton Hospital announced that Cindy Neely accepted the position of hospital administrator. Cindy, a graduate of Columbus Unified High School, has been serving as interim administrator since February.
The Weir City Council met in special session and named Bill Curtsinger as assistant chief of police for the city.
