A highlight of Friday evening of the annual Weir Homecoming is the crowning of homecoming Queen. This year Eleanor Phelps took the crown, having sold $2,750 in tickets for the event. First prize not only receives the title of Weir Homecoming Queen, but also receives 20 percent of their ticket sales, equating to $550 for Phelps.

The 2026 court consists of senior, Solomon Scott and junior, Lexi Gray, senior, Henry Burns and senior, Reece Myers, junior, Nicole Clausen and senior, Tyler Warner, and senior, Nevaeh Ihrer and senior, Hudson Locke. The coronation ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the football stadium. The annual homecoming game vs. West Elk will kick off at 7 p.m. Courtesy photo.
