The sheriff’s department moved its offices from the second floor to the ground floor of the Cherokee County Courthouse. The new remodeled offices house a dispatching center that will eventually be the 9-1-1 center for the county. Dispatchers Kori Thomas and Lucille Napier work with Sheriff Pat Collins in the new center.
