There are so many great men and women in the Bible who inspire admiration and respect for the way that they conducted themselves in the face of overwhelming opposition.

I pulled a Jimmy Suspenders the other day, and now Punkin is mad at me. I figured I was too wise and smart to ever make that kinda mistake, but I’m only human. Punkin quickly pointed out that I wasn’t. I can’t tell you what I said, but apparently she didn’t take it as a joke.
As one gets older it isn’t uncommon for memories to dart back to the past, often to things that happened while growing up. That happened to me this past week. I grew up on the family farm and had the experience of learning to do many different tasks.
Cherokee County was well represented at the State 4-H Wheat Show in Wakeeney. Wheat produced by John Mussa, of Weir, placed second, third and fourth for Josh, Whitney and Haley Paxson in Division II. Others entering Division II were Thomas Paxson, Adam York, Chris Martin, Ryan and Kala Harrington.
