Ruining prank causes grand-daughter to get mad

Evangeline, my granddaughter, showed up on April one and tried hanging out in the kitchen without me. Finally, I gave her some time alone, so she could set up her sneaky April Fool’s joke. She come out, trying not to grin.

A few days ago I was watching an old Western on TV called “Tales of Wells Fargo.” I have always found it interesting what experience triggers a memory or story from the past and that was what happened to me that day. The story was about a Gypsy man and his beautiful daughter.
