Kids at the Baxter Springs City Pool were able to cool off for just $1 on Saturday with the Baxter Springs Kiwanis Club picking up the rest of the admission.
The club plans to host additional pool parties such as the one Saturday cooling off a very hot day.
The club provided snacks consisting of hotdogs, chips and drinks for the youngsters and their families taking advantage of the dollar swim day.
