It was a cool night in Baxter Springs and a good start to the holiday weekend.
The Baxter Springs Fire Department and Fire Auxiliary brought one of their fire trucks to the city pool and sprayed water on the kids as they swam.
About 100 swimmers joined in this nighttime swim. Donations for entry went directly toward the Fire Auxiliary Fund.
