LCC students place at PBL conference

The Labette Community College Phi Beta Lambda members attended the virtual State Leadership Conference recently. Three LCC PBL students competed in nine events earning seven wins as well as two State designations.

Plans for pulled pork lunch finalized by Mercy Auxiliary

Final plans for April 16 Drive-by Mercy Hospital Auxiliary pulled pork luncheon were made during their April 13 meeting. Members signed up for jobs on a chart created by Clara White. Arrival time at St. Rose Hall was set. The luncheon will be held at St. Rose Parish Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The library will be open to the public, with a five person limit, Mondays 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursdays 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Browsing, computer appointments and curbside will be available Wednesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursdays 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Fridays 8 a.m.-noon.
