Columbus Museum ReportI have learned down through the years to expect the unexpected here at the museum. This month was full of unexpected events.On the third we had a flood in the lady’s restroom. The line to the handicap stool had sprung a leak. Many thanks to Randy Coble for coming to our rescue.

Annual Weir Homecoming festival a successful endeavor

Members of the Southeast Lancer High School marching band took part in the annual Weir Homecoming celebration held the weekend of Friday the 13th. As the band marched along the parade route, they played a number of tunes to entertain the crowd.

Plans for the upcoming holiday events were discussed at the September 17 Columbus Mercy Auxiliary meeting.President Janie Jarrett presided. She opened the meeting by leading the 16 members present in the Pledge of Allegiance. Mary Brumback read the Auxiliary prayer.
