Nothing says Cherokee County Fair like the Girl Scout House Fair Kitchen.For over 75 years the Girl Scout House has been “the” place to eat during fair week.They are returning to the Scouts serving in the Girl Scout House after the pandemic prevented them from providing the table service last year.

A family reunion was held Sunday, June 30 by the Messer Family. Those attending spent time visiting, reminiscing and getting to know those from far away.

A 91st birthday party was held for Wanda Tilman. The party was thrown by her daughters Debra Messer, Brenda Qualls, and Kathy Hess. A large crowd turned out to wish Tilman well on her special day.
