All members of the Valley of Southeast Kansas Lodge of Perfection are asked to attend the Stated Dinner and Meeting Thursday, March 7 at the Armstrong Masonic Lodge, 3105 North Joplin Street, Pittsburg.Social Hour begins at 5:30 p.m., Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m.

Health agency plans CPD, AED class for parents

The Cherokee County Health Department will be hosting a CPR and AED training for parents March 1, from 9 a.m until 1 p.m. at the health department. There is no cost for the class and the class is limited to eight participants.

Just a reminder there is a county tourism grant available for groups or organizations that are planning an event in Cherokee County to bring in a large amount of visitors with overnight stays in the county.
