First Assembly of God was the first place winner in the religious float category during the Baxter Springs Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade.
The Copper Lily was a first place winner in the civic float category. They tied with Glittering Stones 4-H Club.
Santa made an appearance in the Baxter Springs Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade. Riding atop the Baxter Springs fire truck, he tossed candy to the youngsters and greeted the crowd.
