A spill of over 2,000 gallons of cattle feed manufactured a the Farmers Coop plant in Baxter Springs early Sunday morning.
The 3,000-gallon tank contained cattle feed somewhat the consistency of molasses. The tank split open and the compound leaked onto the coop parking lot and on the shoulder of 12th Street, according to Russ Harper, Baxter Springs Chief of Police.
