Approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Cherokee and surrounding counties have been announced by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
In Cherokee County U.S. 400, from the Labette/ Cherokee county line east to the U.S. 400/K 7 junction, milling and overlay, 13.4 miles. The $3,052,235.84 bid was awarded to Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc.
