Senior, Gracie Hall, received the Ford FFA Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 during the May 15 Columbus Unified High School Senior Assembly from CUHS FFA Sponsor, KC Youngblood.
Senior, Cal Saporito, received three ag related scholarships from CUHS Ag Instructor, KC Youngblood during the Senior Assembly, May 15 at the Columbus High School Gym. The Raymond Mitchell Memorial, The Willy Benedict Memorial, and the FFA Alumni Scholarships were awarded as $500 per scholarship.
Macee Troxell, senior, received the $300 Community Blood Center of the Ozarks Scholarship from USD 493 Instructor, Brand Pierce, during the 2026 Senior Assembly, May 15, at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium.
Seniors, Morgan Richards and Trinity Green were the winners of the Cherokee County Retired School Personnel Scholarship in the amount of $400 each. The awards were presented during the May 15 Senior Assembly at the CUHS Gymnasium by Shari Napier, member of the CCRSP.
Senior, Jayden Rodriguez, was the reciepient of the KAC Construction Company Scholarship in the amount of $500 and the DoorDash Scholarship for $500. Both awards were presented by Head Wrestling Coach Marcus Bowman during the Senior Assembly, May 15, at the CUHS Gymnasium.
Laura Boeckman presented the Titan Cafe Scholarships to seven seniors who worked in the cafe throughout the school year and in some cases, two years as reflected in the amount of the award . Graci Hall, $800; Trinity Adoremos, $400; Emily Forkner, $400; Bobby Perry II, $400; Darcy Garrett, $400; Natalie Edmondson, $800; and Lemmie Stone, $400 each received the award during the May 15 Senior Assembly at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium.
Hagan Scholarship
Lady Titan Seniors, Bentley Townsend and Tatum Kirk and juniors, Kensley Blackledge and Addy Wilson return to lead the Columbus Unified High School Volleyball Team in their 2026 season. The Lady Titans will open their season with a Jamboree at home, August 28, against Labette County and Humboldt. The teams will be scrimmaging tonight prior to Meet the Titans beginning at 4:45 p.m.
