The second annual Cherokee County Food Fight ended with a somewhat dismal total compared to the first year totals.
The total for 2021 was 5,555 pounds just over half of the 10,780 pounds in 2020.
Galena took the championship this year with a total of 3,040 pounds of non-perishable food stuffs. Nearly doubling their 2020 collections when Galena had only 1,770 pounds.
