It takes the whole community to take care of community kids. Dream Big Little Ones received brand new toddler beds from members in the group. Cherokee County Sheriff, David Groves didn’t hesitate when asked if they could assist us with assembling the beds. “This was a huge blessing and we are so appreciative of Dave and the two gentlemen who assembled the beds for us. Now when these beds go to their kids, they will be ready to just hop in,” said Tess Watson, sponsor.
With the changing of seasons from summer to fall, home maintenance issues tend to get swapped out, as well. Citizens trade mowing and weed-eating for picking up all of the fallen leaves, twigs and branches that their trees dispose of in the cooler weather. Columbus City Council is aware of the issue and began finding a solution last Monday night in their work session.
