Chamber President Matt Case and members of the Cherokee County 4-H will be handing out food to farmers again this year. Keep an eye open at around 5 p.m. June 21, at the south elevator.
Farmers hauling grain to the elevators will soon be surprised by a meal sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee. When they pull in to unload, 4-H members will bring them bag of food and a cold drink. The event is planned for June 21 at approximately 5 p.m. at the South Elevator.
So many times, we forget about where our food supply comes from and forget to say “thank you” to our area farmers, ranchers and other businesses involved in agriculture.
The Chamber Agriculture committee, chaired by Matt Case, President of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, is working on one upcoming project.
