All 20 members of the Columbus Fire Department (CFD) are now certified with a first responder level CPR/AED course.
The department also has three licensed emergency medical technicians and one licensed paramedic.
The CFD started responding with Columbus Ambulance (EMS) to most medical calls in August of this year in an effort to add assistance at the scene.
