Freedom Fest set for Saturday

  • Freedom Fest will be held Saturday in Columbus City Park. Hosted by the Columbus Fire Department, the event will bring back many of the family oriented games and activities. One popular event, the egg toss, is messy. But, the firefighters always make sure to clean the roadway to maintain safety. Games and activities will begin at 5 p.m. with the fireworks beginning at around 9:30 p.m.

    The Freedom, enjoyed by Americans will be celebrated in Columbus Saturday, July 9. The Columbus Fire Department would like to invite the community to head over to Columbus City Park for the first Freedom Fest and fireworks display.
