Donations to improve the Welcome to Columbus sign at the corner of High School Street and Highway 160 have reached the $7,000 goal and plans are underway to make the sign wider and taller.
A $1,000 PRIDE grant combined with a $4,000 grant from Commerce Bank Foundation and a $2,000 City of Columbus grant will allow the Columbus PRIDE committee to start planning the project.
