Galena Junior High School hosted the Columbus Central Junior High Titans, Riverton and Baxter Springs, March 29, to open the junior high school track and field season. Levi Simpson won the seventh grade 1600 meter run and the 100 meter hurdles and took fourth in the 100 meter dash.
Drake Laurance was first in the seventh grade 400 meter dash and placed second in the high jump.
