A case involving three counts of rape, three counts aggravated indecent liberties and three count of aggravated sodomy went to the jury Thursday afternoon.
Brian Curtiss Stewart was originally arrested in May of 2022 by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies.
As of press time, after over five hours of deliberation, the jury had not returned a verdict.
