Residents of Cherokee County joined State officials and members of the Kansas Route 66 Committee in a ribbon cutting ceremony at Rainbow Bridge on Friday, May 2. The bridge just outside Baxter Springs on the now famous highway was completely painted with federal grants totaling more than $100,000. The bridge and highway will be 100 years old next year....
