Saturday morning a parade of fire trucks will move from the old fire station to the new Military Avenue located fire station at 9:30 a.m. This will be followed by a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. and an open house. The city will be hosting a fun packed evening with free snow cones and cotton candy, sponsored by the Baxter Springs Kiwanis beginning at 5 p.m.
