There will soon be a new Magistrate Judge on the bench in Cherokee County. Interviews by the 11 th Judicial Nominating Commission were held Thursday morning and Galena attorney Douglas Steele was ultimately chosen to fill the position that opened after the retirement of Samuel Marsh.
