  • Four Columbus Unified High School Class of 2022 Graduates completed the coursework through Labette Community College to receive certification as Certified Nurses Assistant and Certified Medical Assistant as part of their high school curriculum. Paige Hunt obtained her CNA and CMA certifications, Erin Lima, Austin Helwig, and Kyleigh Delmont each obtained their CNA certifications. The graduates were recognized in a ceremony prior to graduation, May 14.

    Columbus Unified High School Class of 2022 graduate, Chase Ward, received his Certified Welder certificate from Coffeyville Community College, May 7, a week prior to his graduation from Columbus. Ward completed his certification through coursework taken along with his high school classes.
