Over 1,500 COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered by the Cherokee County Health Department and plans are complete to have another drive thru event Thursday at the Cherokee County Fairgrounds, administering another 400 doses.
In addition to the vaccine administered by the Health Department, the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas has also been providing vaccines.
