Bryan and Tricia Wycoff attended the canning program at the Cherokee County 4-H Building in Columbus on Saturday. The program was conducted by County Extension Agent Kylie Ludwig. Several people had an interest in learning to preserve food using the canning process

District 11 nominating committee meets
Members of the Cherokee County 4-H Clubs held a spaghetti lunch to raise funds for improvements to their local building. The youth helped prepare and serve the lunch to area diners. Keith and Helen Kelly were among the diners supporting area youth.
PEO hears from master carpenter at recent meet
Harrison Duley placed first in fishing and second in casting at the Sportsmens Association fishing tournament. Waylon Wells placed second in fishing.
