Open house to discuss Highway Safety Plan

In an effort to make Southeast Kansas roads safer, a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan is being developed by the Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission and Cherokee County.The public is invited to a public open house on Wednesday, March 5 at the 4-H Building at 114 West Country Road, 4 p.m.

Ronald McDonald House reps visit Kiwanis Club

There are few families in the United States that have not had someone close to them who have not been aided by a Ronald McDonald House.Three volunteers from the Ronald McDonald House of the Four States visited recently with the members of the Baxter Springs Kiwanis Club.

The eleventh annual Cherokee County Youth Entrepreneur Fair will be held Thursday, March 6 at Riverton High School, hosted by the Cherokee County Economic Development Corporation and the Cherokee County ECommunity.
