A federal grand jury in Kansas City returned an indictment charging a Kansas man with producing child sexual abuse materials.A magistrate judge in Massachusetts released Gayoso following his December indictment but the Kansas US Attorney objected and another judge overruled that decision.

Rumble strips to be installed in County

The contractor will begin adding rumble strips in multiple locations this week on highways in four southeast Kansas counties, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.The project started yes-terday, Monday, January 12, and the work should be completed in March, conditions permitting.
