The Frontenac 12U Cal Ripken All-Stars swept the Kansas 12U State Tournament to win the title in the championship finale with Columbus 10-0. Held on their home field, the junior Raiders opened with a 11-1 win over Cottonwood Valley. They went on to shut out Parsons, 15-0 and Columbus 1-0 to conclude pool play.
