Lady Titan JV Volleyball takes fourth in Galena
Columbus Titan Eighth Grader, Carter Woodcock and seventh grader, Cole Howard, dash for touchdowns in their respective games with Parsons, Thursday, at Titan Stadium. The eighth grade squad lost to the Vikings, 38-8, while the seventh graders shut out their visitors, 32-0, in the night cap.
The Lady Titan Junior Varsity placed fourth in the Galena Volleyball Tournament, Saturday, losing a tough, three-set match to the eventual winner, Girard, 29-27; 32-34; 8-15 in the first match of bracket play.
In the third place game, Riverton avenged their pool play loses to the Lady Titans with 25-18; 25-22 wins in the two-set match victory.
