The St. Mary’s-Colgan Lady Panthers secured their spot in the Kansas Class 2A State Volleyball State Championship by winning the sub-state title, Saturday, at Erie.
The Lady Panthers began the tournament as the favored, 2021 sub-state champion and number one seed, with a 20-16 season record. They made quick work of Uniontown (5-28, number eight seed), in the quarterfinals, 25-12; 25-10.
