Mary C. Cossairt, 79 of Columbus died Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her home. Born July 18, 1944, Mary was the daughter of Joseph M. and Rachel Berniece (Donohue) Kelly. They preceded her in death. Mary was also preceded in death by a daughter Kristi Cossairt. She attended and graduated from Columbus area schools.
Mary and Lee Cossairt were united in marriage October 6, 1993, at Sherwin. He survives her of the home.
Mary was a longtime member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Columbus. She worked for Stanley Bank in Columbus for many years as a teller.
In addition to her husband Mary is survived by her daughter Jami (Dennis) Audo, son Terry Cossairt; sister Kathleen (Jim) Lucchi; grandchildren Tasha Rebecca, Kionah, Max, nieces/nephews Lisa (Kenton) Starmer, Mark (Diana) Lucchi, Terry (Cathy) Lucchi along with several great nieces Julie Hofer, Kristen Perry, great-great nieces and nephews Taylor Perry, Braden Hofer-Broyles, Brynna Hofer, Hudson Perry, Breckyn Hofer and Great-great great grand nephew Colton Matthews.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Scammon. Inurnment will follow in the St. Bridget’s Cemetery. Parrish rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 10 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus where visitation will follow.
