Cheryl Diane Carter, 73, of Baxter Springs, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at her home.
Born July 18, 1950 in Baxter Springs, Cheryl was the daughter of Wayne and Jean (Gibson) Rodgers, they preceded her in death.
Cheryl lived in Baxter Springs fall of her life, attending school there as well.
She worked as a sewing operator at King Louie in Baxter Springs for almost 30 years before retiring in 2012.
Cheryl was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Baxter Springs for many years and was a member at the time of her death.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Robert Dale Carter, two step-daughters, and one step-son. She is also survived by seven grandchildren including Brianna, Brandon, Christopher, Jordon, Deana, Savannah, and Tommy.
Also preceding her in death are one step-daughter Vicki Burch, a brother David Rodgers, and brother Michael Rodgers.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Derfelt Funeral Home of Baxter Springs.
