Former vice-president and manager of the Columbus Labette Bank office Sean Carter has been appointed president of First National Bank of Parsons.
Carter, was a member of the Board of Directors of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce until his resignation Wednesday.
In leaving the Chamber Carter noted the quality of the organization and that it has been a good experience for him.
