At the Soil and Water Conservation meeting Monday, Nick and Christina Martin and their children Karsten and Kate were presented with the 2025 Kansas Bankers Association Award for Soil Conservation. Mark Epler and Jim Gaither presented the award.
The 2025 Kansas Bankers Association’s Soil Conservation Award recipients, the Nick and Christina Martin Family, were introduced by County Key Banker Jim Gaither of American Bank.
Lifelong residents of Cherokee County Nick and Christina own 80 acres northwest of Baxter Springs, they have two children, Kate and Karsten.
Nick works for ModernAg and Christina is a stay-at-home mom and homeschooler.
