Captain Travis Griffitt, United States Air Force, has been selected for promotion to the rank of Major effective April 1.
The Columbus native is a 2006 graduate of Columbus Unified High School and a 2010 graduate of Pittsburg State University. He received his commission in the USAF in 2011 after completion of Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, Ala.
