    Cherokee County 4-H has selected nine-year-old Brooklyn Paxson as the July member of the month.

    Paxson is a member of the Spring Valley Sparklers Club. Her 4-H projects include sewing, buymanship, fiber arts, foods, horse, swine and beef.

    In June, Paxson was crowned 2021 Cherokee County Rodeo Princess.
