The Wild Thangz local softball team became the USSSA 14U Class B National Runner-up following a 2-8 loss to the Tucson Rebels-Sztan (14B) at the national tournament, Thursday through Satruday.
The event originally scheduled for Wichita took place at three different venues, including Derby, due to rain delays and wet fields. Eight states were represented in the field of 34 teams.
