Lady Titan Sophomore, Mady Garcia, pitched the second game of the junior varsity double header with Pittsburg, Thursday, on Rockette Field. The Lady Purple Dragons took the win, 8-5.
The Columbus Lady Titan Junior Varsity Team split back-to-back double headers, Wednesday and Thursday. The week started with a CNC League sweep in Galena, 15-0 and 15-1 followed by a pair of nonconference losses to Pittsburg on their home diamond in Columbus.
Pittsburg opened the day with five, first inning runs and held the Lady Titans to three batters in the bottom half of the inning.
