The abnormally hot temperatures hitting southeast Kansas are about to pay off in a big way as the city of Columbus’s H and H Splash Pad will be open later this week. A grand opening featuring food, activities and entertainment will be kicking off the coolest summer hot spot May 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
