Jacqueline Dee Burrows, 67, Riverton, died peacefully Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Born March 25, 1958 in Baxter Springs, Jacque was the daughter of Russell and Nancy Cardin. Jacque graduated from Baxter Springs High School in 1976. Jacque met the love of her life and married Robert Randall Burrows February 24, 1978. Jacque and Randy became the proud parents of their son Derek Burrows.
Jacque always placed her family first and provided for and cared deeply for them. In her early years she enjoyed working alongside her family at the Twilite Drive-In at Baxter Springs. She was always fond of going to the drive-in through her entire life and loved viewing the stars while there. Later in life she was a manager of a local convenience store and retired from Hubb Tobacco, formerly Sunflower Supply as office manager.
Jacque enjoyed her travels with her husband while he was in the Air Force, from Alaska to Louisiana. Later in life their work took them to Texas, Florida and finally back home to Riverton. In her retirement she enjoyed sitting on her deck listening to nature and watching the birds.
Jacque was proceeded in death by her parents, Russell and Nancy Cardin and her brother Randy Cardin.
Survivors include her spouse Randy Burrows, of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Derek Burrows and Adena Potter of Mountain Grove, Missouri; her mother and father-in-law, Judy and Dean Burrows of Loma Linda, Missouri; brother-in-law Brian Burrows of Frederick, Maryland and her sisters, Joni and Loren Harding and Sharon and Leonard Anderson, both of Galena.
Jacque stated she was so proud of her son Derek and said he was the apple of her eye.
Jacque has been entrusted to Derfelt’s Funeral Home for cremation. A service will be held at Baxter Springs Derfelt Chapel Monday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m. After the service refreshments will be provided.
