Marcellia June Waggoner, 65, Miami, Okla., died Monday, March 4, 2024 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
Norn December 26, 1958 in Marshall, Mo., Marcellia was the daughter of James and Alice (Johnson) Morgan. She had lived in Miami for over 40 years. She was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Baxter Springs.
In addition to her parents, Marcellia was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Lee Waggoner, June 21, 2022.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Dowd of New York City, N.Y. and Thomas Dowd of Pennsylvania, five daughters, Christine Iliff and husband Joe and Rhonda Andrews and husband Dave, all of Baxter Springs; Roneita Baine of Wyandotte, Okla.; Leann Houghton and husband Josh of Bella Vista, Ark. and Stacie Waggoner of Miami, Okla.; five brothers, Clifford Morgan of California, Jimmy Morgan of Mount Vernon, Mo.; Andy Morgan and Robert Morgan both of Warrensburg, Mo.; Wayne Morgan of Payne Springs, Texas; four sisters, Kay Duncan of Miami, Okla.; Margaret Tanner of Grove, Okla.; Kathy Edmonds of Kansas City, Mo. and Tina Womack of Gunbarrel, Texas; three grandchildren, Laney Mulder and husband Jakoby, Sydney Houghton and Audrey Houghton also survive.
