Melinda Jean Burbidge, age 66, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 in Cherokee, Melinda was born May 3, 1957 to Ray Jean Crawford and Coleen Cresap. She worked for Walmart for the past six years. Melinda adored her family and friends. In her spare time she loved to bake and spend her time with her greatgrandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Mike Crawford.
Survivors include her son Weston Holdahl (wife Karin); sister Marsha Kietzke (husband Alan), brother Mark Crawford; grandchildren: Savanna Jameson (husband Chay), Dakota Holdahl (wife Haley), Coraley Holdahl, and Clayton Holdahl; great-grandchildren: Milah, Joel, Oaklynn, Keelan, Kennady, and Jasmine.
Cremation arrangements are being handled through Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus, Kansas. Family will hold a Celebration of life Sunday December 3, 2023 from 1 p.m.3 p.m. at the Weir Civic center in Weir.
