Roger Dale Burkybile, 66, of Baxter Springs, died Tuesday, October 3, 2023.,Born July 10, 1957, in Miami, Okla., Roger was the son of Charles Burkybile and JoAnn Strickland Burkybile. They preceded him in death. Roger was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Frank Burkybile.
Roger worked as a foreman for Neece Concrete in Miami, Okla. for many years. He enjoyed working on cars and tinkering on all things.
Roger and Debbie Ernst were united in marriage October 12, 1984, in Columbus. She survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, Debbie, of the home Roger is survived by two daughters, Sherry Tolle, of Baxter Springs and Kimberly Lock (husband, Jay) of Adair, Okla. Four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his brother, Albert Burkybile; and sister, Beverly Doss also survive.
A Celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 12 at the Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel.
