Wendy Ann Chaddock, 51, of Joplin, Mo., died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Mo. following an illness. Born March 15, 1972 in Joplin, Mo., Wendy was the daughter of Arthur Tracy and Carlotta (Canady) Chaddock. She had lived in Joplin since 2013 moving from California.
Wendy had worked as a clerk at Motel 6 for quite a while but had last worked at Alorica in Joplin, Mo. She loved to style hair, gardening and collecting elephant figures. Her favorite companion was her dog named RJ.
Wendy is survived by her significant other, Mike Clark of Joplin, Mo.; two sons, Parker LaTurner, of Joplin, Mo. and Jacob Tieso, of Roseburg, Orgeon; daughter, Alanna Tieso (husband, Ben Booth), of El Cajon, Calif.; two sisters, Misty McIntosh (husband, Wesley) and Tracy Chaddock, both of Joplin, Mo. Five grandchildren, Lincoln Caton, Camden Booth, Sender Booth, RJ LaTurner and Zanayiah LaTurner and many nieces , nephews and other family members also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 2 at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Galena. Jim Jones will officiate. The Pallbearers will be Mike Clark, Wesley McIntosh, Dakota Carico, Chris Carico, Jacob Tieso, and Parker LaTurner.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 1 at Derfelt Funeral Home, in Galena.
