Area track and field athletes showcased their talents at the Kansas Class 3A Regional Track and Field Meet, Friday in Fredonia.
Galena sophomore, Mia Sarwinski was regional champion with her firstplace finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 61.2 seconds.
Matthew Hardee earned his regional title for Galena placing first in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.9 seconds.
