Madisen Rand, Lady Titan Freshman, made the play at first and is ready to return the ball to the pitcher in Columbus Junior Varsity action against Labette County on Rockette Field. Madisen and Lady Titans took down the Lady Lions, Tuesday, in a double header sweep.
The Lady Titan Junior Varsity Squad swept their CNC League opener with two wins over the junior Lady Lions from Baxter Springs. Following a varsity sweep, Monday, the junior varsity collected their wins, Tuesday at Rockette Field in the Community Field Ball Park, 10-2 and 18-2.
Baxter Springs leadoff batter Chloe Turley, freshman, opened the game with a single and scored the first run of the game.
